IMPORTANT

Due to circumstances, adoption enquires will now be only undertaken via submitting an online enquiry form

Please be aware that for every rescue Boxer, I recieve anywhere upto 30 phone calls/emails from people willing to give that one dog a home.

My rescue Boxers are of the utmost importance to me, thus, I want to ensure they go to the most suitable home.

I am not the Trading Post, a Backyard Breeder, a Pet Shop or a Pound- where you can roll up and immediately have the dog you wish.
I will not rehome a rescue to someone because they are the first caller, or to someone who wants a Boxer to keep their other dog company because it's jumping fences, I will not rehome a rescue that exhibits high prey/flight/pack drives to a property with country fencing, or better yet no fencing at all. I don't rehome dogs undesexed, nor do I "negotiate" on the adoption fee.
I work full time, sometimes cannot answer my phone straight away, sometimes cannot return a call the same day, have my own commitments, my own dogs and run my rescue in the spare time I don't have. Evidently, this seems to annoy some people.

Most of these Boxers are on their 3rd, 4th or 5th home, and the majority had less than ideal homes previous to being rescued.
They may all be the same breed, but in reality, each dog is different- Some will not tolerate being left alone for periods of time, some will want to eat your cat, most won't be content at being made to only stay on a mat when lucky enough to be allowed inside, some will not get along with your other dog by default. I have carefully and thoroughly assessed each dog on their own merits, and not all of them are suitable for every persons living/work arrangements.

I do not doubt that the great majority of people who enquire can provide a fantastic home for a Boxer-
but PLEASE understand, I cannot please everybody.

Rather than phoning/emailing, the new procedure to express interest in adopting a future Rescue Boxer, or to enquire
about a current rescue, is to fill out an 'interested party' form. This is Linked below.
Should there be a Boxer that I think may be suitable match- I will be in contact, in which all my usual rehoming procedures will follow.
